Yesterday, she and some other 3rd grade friends had to take a reading assessment what really impressed me was that #1. She took the time to write on her scratch paper testing tips/encouragement for herself and #2 she later told me while reading is not her best subject she knew she needed to take her time so she could do her personal BEST! I think we can all learn something from her positive mindset as we move into End of year testing season! Way to go Evie Kate.”

Marshall, a teacher and alumnus of West Johnston Wildcats, was one of four finalists, which included Heather Bryant of Clayton High School, Lois D'Agostino of West View Elementary, and Brooke Hayward of Riverwood Elementary School.
