Good evening MEadow Families. Tomorrow is the first day of school! We are so excited to have our students back on campus. As we begin the school year we have some information to share with all. Carpool, in the morning K-3 is dropped off in front of the school and 4-8 is dropped off by the gym. We ask parents to remain in the car and a staff member will help direct students into the building. Please have your child unbuckled once entering our campus so they are ready to exit your vehicle once parked. In the afternoon, all vehicles should enter by the bus parking lot and proceed to line up by the middle school building. For our returning families, this is nothing new. For our first time families there are directions/markings on the pavement.
Our Kindergarten students do not begin until Wednesday or Thursday. Your teacher should notify you of the start date. All kindergarten students report on Friday Aug. 30.
We do allow parents to walk their 1st-5th grade students on the first day of school only. However, we ask that you do not stay long so that we can begin school. Kindergarten will be allowed to walk their students the first two days-Wednesday or Thursday and Friday.
Our PTO will send home information the first day of school. Their first fundraiser is a VIPO Carpool pass. Three families will be drawn from the raffle. They will be allowed to park in the designated spaces to skip the carpool line and pick their student up at 3:15. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Meadow School Volleyball Tryouts
Good evening Meadow families. This is Clint Eaves, Principal of Meadow School. We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer. Before long, we will all be back at Meadow School creating another fantastic school year. I have just a few announcements this evening. One, teachers have started calling families to introduce themselves as your child's teacher. Please be patient as they are making 20-30 calls each. Second, Thursday Aug. 22 we will have a welcome meeting and Open House. We invite you to join us in the gym at 4:45 for the Principal’s welcome message and information from our PTO. Following that brief meeting, we will open the school until 7:00 for families to visit with teachers. Tables will be set up in the lobby and halls for information about buses, athletics, PTO, First Priority, and other informational needs. We look forward to seeing you next week and the beginning of a great 2024-2025 school year.
