McGee's Crossroads Middle School, in conjunction with Poe Center for Health Education, is excited to host the Drugs Uncovered: What Parents Need to Know workshop for parents and adults next Thursday, September 28 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the cafeteria. This back by popular demand and must see workshop is an interactive program that targets parents and adults that serve upper elementary, middle school and high school students. Drugs Uncovered introduces parents to the current trends regarding alcohol, tobacco and other drugs; health risks associated with adolescent use; the North Carolina alcohol laws and parental responsibility; and techniques for open communication and dialog with adolescents.
