Clayton Middle School

On Friday, February 27, students at Clayton Middle School explored their future possibilities during the school’s annual College and Career Fair. All students in grades 6–8 had the opportunity to visit and interact with 28 booths representing a wide variety of careers, colleges, and local organizations.

Throughout the event, students rotated through the fair to learn about different career paths, educational opportunities, and the skills needed to succeed in various fields. Representatives shared information about their professions, answered student questions, and provided insight into what it takes to pursue careers in areas such as healthcare, public service, technology, business, and skilled trades.

The fair was designed to help students begin thinking about their interests and goals beyond middle school. By connecting students with professionals and organizations from the community, the event encouraged them to explore the many possibilities available to them in the future.

Events like the College and Career Fair support the school’s mission of preparing students for success in high school, college, and beyond while helping them discover the many paths available for their future.

Clayton Middle School is grateful to the many community partners and volunteers who gave their time to make the event a success. Their willingness to share their experiences helped inspire students and provided valuable exposure to real-world careers.

His commitment to education and to supporting students as they explore future opportunities played an important role in the success of this event. 

Together, their efforts helped inspire students as they explored the many opportunities available to them in the future.
