Clayton Navy Junior ROTC members recognized the five CHS Staff Members who are Veterans
of various branches of the military in honor of Veterans Day on November 11th . Each Veteran
was given a gift bag and a banner was hung in the main lobby of the high school.
Coach Banks, who works in the main office, is a Veteran of the Air
Force. He retired from the Air Force after 22 ½ years attaining the
rank of Master Sergeant.
Officer Alexander, our School Resource Officer, is a
Marine Veteran. He completed 4 years in the Marine
Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Mr. Brown, who works in ISS, is a Veteran of the Navy. He
served in the Navy for 15 years and attained the rank of Petty
Officer Second Class.
Captain Eder and Senior Chief Petty Officer Bond are
both retired from the Navy. Captain Eder served for 33
years, while Senior Chief Bond served for 20 years. Both
of them are currently serving as Naval Science
Instructors in the CHS NJROTC program.
