I am very proud to have been announced as the new Assistant Principal for Corinth Holders High School. I am very excited to join the school community and count myself amongst you.

During my education career, I’ve served as an Assistant Principal, a High School Intervention Coordinator, and a Special Education teacher. Before entering the classroom, I worked in mental health support for residential and in-home care settings. Seeing students through all these different lenses reinforced for me how vital it is to care for the whole child. My primary goal is to lead with empathy and a person-centered approach so we can do what’s best for our students every day. 

When I’m not in school, I love to spend time with my wife and daughter. We typically enjoy spending time outdoors when possible. I also enjoy watching sports, especially football and hockey(Go Canes!). I’m also an avid reader.

I am excited to bring my experience in education, military leadership, and a high-energy approach to serving the students, staff, and families of Corinth Holders High School as an Assistant Principal. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building strong relationships, creating a positive school culture, and helping students reach their full potential both academically and personally.

I firmly believe that community is the foundation of every successful school. I look forward to getting to know our students, families, staff, and community partners as we work together to uphold the high standards and traditions of Corinth Holders.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling with my wife and our two daughters to sporting events—especially baseball (Boomer Sooner!). You'll often find our family enjoying the outdoors, whether we're swimming or boating at the lake, golfing, or taking walks with our Labs, Major and Gunny.

I am excited to begin my third year as Assistant Principal at Corinth Holders High School, a place I’m proud to call home. A graduate of NC State University (Go Pack!) and a lifelong Johnston County native, I began my teaching career in 2008 and completed my Executive Leadership Studies in School Administration at Gardner-Webb University in 2023.

I am passionate about learning, teaching, and investing in the future—our students. As a product of Johnston County Schools, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the CHHS community and look forward to a wonderful year.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, working in my yard, attending church, cheering on my favorite teams, and tackling DIY projects.

I am excited to be part of the Corinth Holders High School community for another year because I’m invested in the success of our students. Before becoming an educator, I spent six years as an underwater welder, where I learned the value of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Those experiences continue to shape the way I lead and connect with students each day.

I am passionate about building meaningful relationships, creating a positive learning environment, and helping students grow both inside and outside the classroom. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Outside of school, you’ll usually find me at the ball field, hanging out with the family, or sitting on my couch watching Star Wars!

I am proud to be a Pirate and look forward to another great year at Corinth Holders High School.
