Cash Club

What a way to begin the 2026–2027 school year!

During our first week back, Corinth Holders High School received some exciting statewide recognition when Mr. John Allen and CHHS student Ben were featured by the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer as part of its new Cash Club financial literacy initiative.

CHHS also holds a special place in the launch of this program as the first high school in North Carolina to host a Cash Club recruitment event.

The Cash Club is a statewide financial literacy initiative designed to give high school students practical knowledge they can use now and throughout their lives. Through engaging lessons and activities, students explore real-world topics such as budgeting, saving, credit, investing, scholarships, and financial decision-making.

The program builds on the State Treasurer’s award-winning Finance Fridays resources and provides participating schools with ready-to-use lessons, activities, discussion questions, quizzes, scholarship spotlights, and opportunities to connect students with guest speakers.

At CHHS, this work fits perfectly with our commitment to preparing students to be college ready, career ready, and life ready.

We are proud of Mr. Allen and Ben for representing Corinth Holders High School and helping shine a spotlight on the importance of financial literacy for students across North Carolina.

First week of school, and Pirate Pride is already making waves across the state! 💜💛🏴‍☠️
