Corinth Holders High School is proud to recognize senior Ashton Orr for being selected by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Presidential Scholars Nomination Committee to advance as a state nominee in the next round of the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
Ashton was nominated in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) category, representing the very best of North Carolina students through his outstanding scholarship, leadership, and commitment to excellence in his field of study. This prestigious recognition places Ashton among an elite group of students across the state who are being considered for one of the nation’s highest honors for high school seniors.
The U.S. Department of Education will invite Ashton to apply directly to the Commission on Presidential Scholars as the process continues in the coming months.
