Two Corinth Holders High School students showcased their speaking skills this weekend at the The American Legion Post 148 Oratorical Scholarship Contest, earning top honors and scholarship awards.

Noah Dust placed fourth overall, earning a $500 scholarship for his outstanding performance in the competition.

Scarlett Otero earned first place, receiving a $2,000 scholarship and the opportunity to advance to the next level of competition. Scarlett will represent CHHS and Post 148 at the District Competition on February 7 in Raleigh.
