Corinth Women’s Wrestling Makes History with Conference Championship
Corinth’s Women’s Wrestling team has officially made school history — and they did it in dominant fashion.
The Lady Pirates finished the season 11–0 overall and 7–0 in conference, earning the Conference Championship and becoming the first women’s wrestling team in Corinth history to claim the title. Along the way, they dethroned Millbrook, the three-time defending conference champions, who were also ranked second in the state as of this week.
This milestone season is a testament to the grit, discipline, and teamwork of this inaugural championship squad. Every match reflected the team’s relentless work ethic and commitment to excellence, setting a new standard for the program.
Adding to the excitement, all 11 wrestlers on the roster have qualified for Regionals, an incredible accomplishment that underscores the depth and strength of the team.
