Expressions of gratitude for Bella Wylie, a rising CHHS senior and President of First Priority, who recently organized a very successful school supply drive for teachers at several area schools. Bella and her amazing team were able to collect over $800 in supplies for local teachers at Archer Lodge Middle, River Dell Elementary, and Thanksgiving Elementary, in addition to Corinth Holders High!! On Wednesday, August 13, she delivered the items to the delight and appreciation of CHHS staff.
Bella shared “I currently serve as our school’s First Priority club president, where our mission is to be leaders of Christ in our schools and community. We have made a goal and mission to dedicate our time and resources to give back to our schools and community, and that starts with our teachers! As a student going from River Dell Elementary, to Archer Lodge Middle, and now Corinth Holders High - I have seen the dedication from our teachers, staff, and administrators to us students and I wholeheartedly believe that all of you deserve as much credit, appreciation, and recognition as we can give you. Teachers from these various schools have changed my life and have shaped me into the person I am now, and I want to give back to them.” Bella notes “This project would not have been possible without my leader team, nor the support of the community.”
Under Bella’s leadership, CHHS First Priority also partnered with The Lab Basketball, a nonprofit youth basketball organization that takes pride in creating an atmosphere around joy, character, and development.
