Students from Corinth Holders High History Club recently completed a trip to Gettysburg National Military Park. Highlights of the trip included seeing the exact spot President Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address, Little Round Top, Devils Den, the Culp’s Hill tower, the Jennie Wade house and walking the Rose farm. Both the scenery and weather were great as students toured the hallowed ground where 51,000 American casualties helped insure that “government by the people, for the people, and of the people” can long endure.
