Benson Middle School’s 7th and 8th Grade Formal will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM in the school gymnasium.
The theme for this year’s Formal is Endless Summer! 🌞 See attached image for more information.
The cost to attend is $20 per student. Payments will be accepted beginning March 9th and will continue through April 2nd for students who wish to attend.

6th Grade Parents/Guardians,
This is a reminder that our 6th-grade field trip will take place tomorrow, March 25. Please review the important details below:
Arrival Time: Students may begin arriving as early as 6:00 am and must enter through the school's front entrance.
Departure Time: Buses will leave promptly at 6:30 AM. Due to our scheduled arrival time at the museum, buses cannot wait for late students.
Shoes: Students must wear closed-toe shoes in order to participate in the ropes course. No crocs or slippers.
Lunch/Snacks: The school will provide breakfast and lunch. However, students may bring their own lunch and snacks.
Personal Items: Students should not bring valuables, as the school is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Return: Students will return at approximately 5:30 PM.
Pick-up will take place in front of the school when students return.

For your child to participate in the Skywild Ropes Course during the Greensboro Science Museum Field Trip on March 25, a waiver must be completed.

Students without a signed waiver will not be allowed to participate in the ropes course.
Additionally, the bus will depart at 6:30am on March 25th. Please begin arriving at 6:00 am to ensure that your student is on the bus when we depart.
