I am so excited to be at Benson Elementary again this year! I began working with Johnston County Schools in March 2019, but this is my 16th year as a social worker!

As a school social worker, I have the privilege to act as a link between home, school, and community. I enjoy working with families to explore resources and break down barriers to school success. 

 I attended North Carolina State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree. (GO WOLFPACK!) Almost 15 years later to the day, I graduated from NC State again - this time with my Master of Social Work degree. So take it from me...it's never too late to achieve your dreams!

When I'm not working with students, staff, and families at the BEST school ever, I enjoy reading, grilling out with friends, spending time with family, and cuddling with my fur-baby Lulabelle!
