It is my pleasure to have you and your student(s) be a part of Gator Nation!  Archer Lodge Middle School is a place I have called a second home for several years and rest assured your student is in an amazing place to learn and grow.  Before serving as your principal I was one of the assistant principals at ALMS for nearly 6 years.  This community and its residents are very near and dear to me and it is my goal to always ensure that we provide an environment that delivers a high level of academic achievement, provides opportunities for student engagement in and out of the classroom, and makes ALMS an important part of the Archer Lodge Community.

I am a lifelong learner and resident of Johnston County and I believe there is no better place to receive an education; our Gator Staff members provide high quality, rigorous instruction to prepare students to be successful in middle school and beyond.

Hello Gator Family!  I am excited to be at Archer Lodge Middle School serving as your Assistant Principal.  I am native to Johnston County and have previously served in various educational roles such as a high school science teacher, 5th grade math/science teacher, Lead Teacher for Formative Assessments, and an Assistant Principal.

Hello Gator Families,

I am excited to be a part of the Archer Lodge family serving as your Assistant Principal. Prior to becoming a gator, I was a National Board certified middle school social studies teacher in Lenoir County Public Schools for 3 years and the Wake County Public School System for 10 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my leadership journey at Archer Lodge Middle School. 

I am originally from Ohio. My wife and I moved to North Carolina to pursue our teaching careers and fell in love with the state. I am a resident of Wendell and look forward to becoming a part of the Archer Lodge community. 

Outside of school, my interests include sports (nearly every kind), science fiction and fantasy novels, comic books, and spending time with my family. 

My goal as your Assistant Principal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for all students and families. I believe in building relationships with students and families in order to best serve you. I look forward to a great school year.

I am excited to begin this new chapter as the Administrative Intern at Archer Lodge Middle School! After 25 years in the classroom, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving students, families, and staff in a new role while growing as an educational leader.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction Development. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in School Administration at NC State University as I prepare for the next step in my leadership journey.

For the past several years, I have had the privilege of serving students and families at River Dell Elementary. While Archer Lodge Middle is new to me, I am excited to become part of this incredible community and build meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading a great book, shopping, and learning something new.

I am honored to join the Gator family and look forward to meeting everyone and making this an incredible school year!
