WJHS Welcomes New Men's Soccer Coach

West Johnston is pleased to announce the arrival of John Timmins as the new Men’s Soccer Coach for the 2020-21 school year.

Timmins has had an extensive playing and coaching career.  His most notable high school tenure was with North Forsyth’s Men’s Soccer team in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  He is ready to begin coaching as soon as possible and is, “excited about the opportunity to build a strong and sustainable Men’s Soccer Program at West Johnston High School”.

West Johnston Athletic Director Josh Plisko is glad to have Timmins on board at the school to lead the Men’s soccer program: “He is an experienced soccer coach that has shown great results through his coaching career. His steadiness at North Forsyth HS showed his ability to create and run a quality program. We are coming off of a historic year last year, winning the most games in a season for boys soccer and I want to ensure that we have someone will be able to help take us to the next level."  The athletic staff welcomes Coach Timmins and is looking forward to the resumption of student sports and working with a full staff to provide student athletes  with the opportunity to learn and compete.
