Free Preschool for Four Year Olds Through the NC Pre_K

Attention parents of 4-year-olds: Are you interested in your child attending a free preschool program? The NC PreK program is designed to provide 4-year-old children with positive early learning experiences that support their development and prepare them for Kindergarten.

NC PreK is free to families. Children must be four years old on or before August 31. Additional criteria for eligibility includes risk factors such as a developmental disability, Limited English Proficiency, educational need, chronic health conditions, and/or reduced family income. Children of active duty military families may also be eligible regardless of income or presence of risk factors.
