Mrs. Amanda Dale is the School Improvement Team (SIT) leader at West Smithfield Elementary. She is a leader who serves with a smile and she also knows when to be focused and lead with respectable authority. She encourages collaborative leadership of her colleagues to lead through other school committees, as well as with their grade-level teams. 

Dale is a hard worker who dedicates her time and talents to ensuring that the school is diligent, focused, and mindful of the SIT goals for continuous improvement. She is open to opinions and dialogues respectfully with others to ensure that no problem is too small to be acknowledged. Dale recognizes and utilizes the strengths of others and communicates her appreciation.  

By putting her "hands to plow" and "wisdom to work" she supports and advocates for the students and teachers before the administration.  She is definitely someone who is highly motivated to give whatever it takes to ensure the success and improvement of the school.

She is focused on meeting every  goal in the school improvement plan and has effectively created tools to ensure that each grade level can provide evidence and contribute to the plan.
