Teachers - don’t forget that November 19th is the last day for open enrollment with the State Health Plan.

Anyone interested in signing up for the blood drive on Monday November 25 should see Mrs. Peterson during  lunch or bark and bite. Staff interested in signing up please call or email Mrs. Peterson or see her at lunch. 

Any student wishing to join Chess Club must see Mr Thomas in Room 361 immediately to establish registration. Dues to join Chess Club are due no later than Tuesday November 19.

Prom Tickets are on sale for $60. Please see Ms. Woodard to purchase tickets. 

To support the United Way, place your name on a Bulldog to be entered in a 50/50 drawing. Each Bulldog is one chance at winning half of the money raised. Bulldogs can be purchased at the front office or in front of the cafeteria during lunches. 1 chance for $3, 2 chances for $5, 4 chances for $10, or 8 chances for $20. Drawing will be held Nov. 15th.

Any senior interested in working as an apprentice for Johnston County’s top manufacturing companies, including OPX, Grifols, House Autry, and Novo Nordisk, should see Mrs. Farrior by the end of the week. Apprentices start working with these companies while attending JCC tuition-free! Win-win!

Glaxo-Smith-Kline, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, has apprenticeship opportunities for seniors upon graduation. Please see Mrs. Farrior if you are interested.

Jr. Beta Members who plan to go on the DC trip  are reminded that the deadline to register online is by Friday, Nov. 15th. 


You are invited to attend the "JOCO WORKS NOW" event at Johnston Community College on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 2-4 pm.

JOCO WORKS NOW is an industry-led event created to meet the Johnston County workforce needs. The career expo will showcase career options to high school or post-secondary students, parents, or job seekers. This is not your typical career fair. It’s an interactive career fair with a lot of hands on activities. Please join the top employers in our region to learn more about work opportunities in the area.
