Riverwood Middle 8th Grade students who were History Club members recently completed a trip to Gettysburg National Military Battlefield accompanied by Mr. Pawlak, Mr. Barnes, and Mrs. Lunger. Despite the rainy weather on one day, the trip was a success with highlights including the "Sally the dog monument", then and now photographs, the Ghost tour in the rain, the North Carolina memorial, Devils' Den, and the Rose Farm. Mr. Pawlak wants to thank the parents, chaperones, teachers, administration, students, and especially, Mrs. Paula Gibson, for helping make this trip a success.
