Jarron Jordan Received the Character Education Award for Self-Discipline
Jarron Jordan Character Award - Self Discipline
Congratulations to 8th grader, Jarron Jordan, who was recognized during the March 14th, 2023 School Board meeting as this year’s RMS Character Ed recipient for demonstrating self-discipline.
Jarron Jordan is an 8th grade student at Riverwood Middle School and truly exemplifies everything a model student should be, so much so it was difficult to choose just one character trait for this recognition. Jarron is a leader among his peers, being loved and respected by everyone, teachers and students alike. He has been an Honor Roll and Principal’s List student during each of his years at Riverwood Middle. Jarron achieved Principal’s List for the first semester this year earning no grade less than a 95. He currently serves as a member of the yearbook staff and President of the FFA and Beta Club, as well as President of the Greater Raleigh Kappa League. Jarron can often be found helping his peers in Math class and overheard encouraging positive behavior in the hallways. Jarron plans to attend Howard University after high school and major in Business Administration and minor in Finance. Jarron consistently exhibits self discipline in everything he does and this is why he was selected as our Riverwood Middle School Character Ed recipient.
Way to go, Jarron!!
