High School Registration for 8th Grade Students

Good Evening 8th Grade Students and Parents.
We are reaching out to you to share some vital information about high school registration depending on your child’s assigned school.

Future Clayton High Students: For students slated to attend Clayton High School, On Wednesday,March 16th, course registration sheets for rising 9th grade students will be sent home for families to review. The form lists all possible classes your students are required and eligible to take. On Friday,March 18th, 8th grade students slated for Clayton High School will visit their campus during the school day. A permission form for bus transportation was sent home earlier this week. Then on Wednesday, March 23rd, Clayton High School counselors will visit Riverwood Middle School to officially register students for their 9th grade classes; a parent signature on the course registration form is required to do so. Without a parent signature, CHS counselors will choose classes for the student.


Future Corinth Holders High School Students: For students slated to attend Corinth Holders High School, On Thursday, March 17th, course registration sheets for rising 9th grade students will be sent home for families to review. The form lists all possible classes your students are required and eligible to take. On Wednesday, March 23rd, CHHS counselors will visit Riverwood Middle School to do a presentation about the school and classes offered. Friday, April 1st, CHHS registration forms must be turned in with a parent signature. Without a parent signature, CHHS counselors will choose classes for the student. Then on Friday, April 8th, CHHS counselors will visit Riverwood Middle School to officially register students for their 9th grade classes

Prior to the 2022-2023 school year's start in August, parents will receive instructions about orientation for the respective schools.
