Important Information on Progress Reports, PowerSchool Parent Portal Access, and the Census

The following is an announcement regarding Progress Reports, PowerSchool Parent Portal Access, and the Census:

Progress Report dates will be shared by individual schools. It is essential to activate PowerSchool Parent Portal in order to review your child’s academic progress, school attendance, and to stay informed. If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, please contact your school’s student information data manager to obtain your credentials.

If you do have an account and are using the PowerSchool Mobile app and are experiencing issues with the app or incomplete information is being displayed, delete the app from your mobile device, reinstall the app and then log back in with your PowerSchool credentials. If you continue to have issues with your mobile app, please contact your school’s student information data manager for assistance. For more information regarding the PowerSchool Parent Portal, please visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/PSPP.

We would also like to remind you about the importance of the 2020 Census and encourage you to participate. While COVID-19 has affected this nation financially, we can look forward to resources and funding based on our Census count. If you have not done so, please take 10 minutes to complete the Census and help bring resources to our school community. Your answers are protected by law, and they are confidential. They cannot be shared with law enforcement, immigration agencies or housing authorities. Thank you to those who have already completed the form.
