Johnston County Public Schools School Nutrition Services will be offering free meals during the summer months to children and teens 18 and younger through USDA Food and Nutrition Services. Schools serving free summer meals include Cooper Elementary, Micro Elementary, Selma Elementary, and West Smithfield Elementary. All four locations will serve meals Monday-Thursday beginning June 10 through Aug. 8. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Adults with their child can purchase breakfast à la carte and lunch for $3.50.
