Hannah Mayo Honored

Princeton High School Senior Hannah Mayo has accomplished a lot in the last four years.  Hannah is active both in and out of school. Hannah lives and works on her family’s farm in Princeton, NC. She is a member of the FFA and Beta Club at Princeton High School.

Hannah’s involvement and accomplishments in FFA have been especially impressive. Hannah has served as the president of the Princeton High School FFA chapter for the last two years and earned her FFA State Degree as a high school junior. Hannah was recently honored at the Johnston County FFA Federation Banquet on May 2, 2019, as this year’s Most Outstanding Senior. The Federation Banquet recognizes the accomplishments of FFA members throughout Johnston County. In all, Hannah received 4 awards at the banquet including proficiency awards she earned by working on her family's farm. The Mayo’s have production poultry houses as well as a feed mill where Hannah has worked all of her life. Hannah also has a part time job at BASF where she helps with crop production and research.

Hannah will be graduating from Princeton High School on May 31, 2019 with honors. Hannah plans to attend Wayne Community College for two years before pursuing a degree in agricultural production from the University of Mount Olive.
