Jillian Carlson, Laney Daughtry,  and Hailey Medlin competed in the final JV gymnastics competition of the season on Saturday at Langley Gymnastics in Angier, NC. Hailey competed on floor exercise,  Laney got 5th place on floor and 5th place All-Around. Jillian placed 4th on Balance Beam, 1st on Bars and 1st All-Around. Congratulations on the weekend’s accomplishments. 

There will be a women’s soccer interest meeting Wednesday during both lunches in the lobby of the cafeteria.

The North Johnston High School Fall Band Concert is tomorrow at 6:30 PM in the auditorium. $2 Donations will be accepted at the door. 

There is a JCPS Financial Aid Night being held tonight, 6:00 p.m at the Smithfield Public Library.  This event is for any student interested in learning more about the Financial Aid Process. Financial Aid representatives from local colleges will be available to answer questions.  

Students taking the PSAT will need to bring photo IDs on Wednesday. Please bring your school ID or another photo ID. PSAT Test takers, you will leave your phones and any smart watches or fitbits in your backpacks, completely turned off & shut down.

Any student that has not completed pre-administration bubbling for the PSAT must talk to Mrs. Davis in student services today and complete bubbling today or tomorrow.  Students are required to complete bubbling before the test day.

The North Johnston High School Blood Drive will be held November 1st.  Please stop by Mrs. Oliver’s room, room 606, to get information and required paperwork if you wish to participate in the blood drive.  A table will be set up in the cafeteria in the coming weeks as well. Please see Mrs. Oliver or any HOSA officer if you have questions or concerns.

Seniors : Check the scholarship page of our school website often for updated scholarship opportunities. There are over 35 active scholarships posted at this time.  

Seniors:  Please submit a copy of all college acceptance letters and any scholarship offers you receive regardless of whether you plan to accept them or not. 

Students: October 15 is the last day to make up any excessive absences. Report to ALC (room 102) during your lunch. Questions: See Mrs. Edwards or Coach Anderson.

There will be a HOSA meeting tomorrow -  all members are invited.

 

Make-up underclassmen picture day is  Thursday, October 17th.

Friday, Oct. 18 is a teacher workday, so no school for students on Friday.

 Monday, Oct. 21st is now a student school day.
