Hard Work Pays Off For The NJMS FFA Livestock Judging Teams

On December 1st, 8 of our FFA members traveled to Raleigh to compete in the North Carolina FFA State Livestock Judging Contest. Participating students were Caylee Johnson, Tenley Barbour, Lexi Barbour, Kaylee Pittman, Sebastian Wheeler, Peyton Ford, Cameron Casey and Colby Johnson. The team consisting of Kaylee Pittman, Peyton Ford, Tenley Barbour and Lexi Barbour placed 6th in the state and was the highest scoring middle school team. Peyton Ford was the highest scoring individual, as she placed 9th out of 329 students. Ms. Edwards and the whole Jaguar family are super proud of the hard work of all 8 of these students!
