Announcements 2-13-20

Juniors: If you have a class conflict with the ACT, see Mrs. Davis in student services to get a letter for your college professor. You will need to take the ACT on February 25 and should deliver the letter to your professors BEFORE then.

The deadline to guarantee your free T-Shirt is Monday.  See any Math Teacher to register for the Pi Day 5K coming up March 14th! 

Seniors:   If you completed the JCPS Local Scholarship application, you are reminded to turn in your college acceptance letter, SAT and ACT scores as well as the EFC from your FAFSA to complete your application.  This must be done by Friday, February 14th. See Mrs. Holland in Student Services with questions. 

Attention all lady prom attendees! Mrs. Sellers will be meeting with youTODAY, Feb 13 during 3rd block in the auditorium to discuss dress code for the prom. An announcement will be made. Any questions, see Mrs. Lippert.

Any HOSA member who is interested in purchasing a 2020 T-Shirt please see Mrs. Oliver by February 17th.  Money is due by February 19th. Cost will be $15 for short sleeves, $18 for long sleeves.

 

JCC will host a CCP Expo on Thursday, February 20, from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Tart Lobby at JCC.  Students interested in CCP should plan to attend. 

Are you wanting to explore career options? Well…CTE will be hosting a district career fair, Thursday, Feb 20 at Smithfield-Selma High School. Any junior or senior that is interested in going, please see Mrs. Lippert in room 408 for a permission form. 

Attention Juniors!! Money and permission forms for the Bentonville Battleground trip are due to Mr Holland or Mr Batten by February 28. Only 40 students will be able to attend, so secure your spot today!!

 

Prom tickets are on sale! To purchase see Mrs. Lippert or Coach Anderson in room 408. 

 

SENIOR AD NIGHT for anyone who would like to purchase an ad for the 2020 Yearbook will be Thursday, February 27 at 7 pm in the Media Center.  Please let your parents and family know. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Fry.

 

Winter athletic senior night is this Friday, Feb 14th, in between the girl’s and boy’s basketball games.  Parents will line up in front lobby of the new gym and athletes in the back hallway of new gym with 3 minutes left in the girl’s game.  See your coach for any reminders.

 

Song-a-Grams for teachers will be delivered throughout the day.  Song-a-Grams for students will be delivered during 4th period. We will try to cover all deliveries in a class at the same time so there will be minimal interruptions.  

 

Attention Students:  It is imperative that you attend required tutorials, assigned structured lunch, that you throw away your trash in the trash cans provided in the cafeteria and court yard.  Administration will be carefully monitoring these items over the next week. If these items do not improve, administration will look at possibly taking away Panther Time for a while.
