Seniors: If you completed the JCPS Local Scholarship application, you are reminded to turn in your college acceptance letter, SAT and ACT scores as well as the EFC from your FAFSA to complete your application. This must be done by Friday, February 14th. See Mrs. Holland in Student Services with questions.

Sophomores, it is time to start thinking about ordering your official class ring! Herff Jones representatives will be here on Wednesday, February 13th during 2nd block to discuss ring options with you. Report to class first, then wait for the announcement to release you to the auditorium.

For $1, you can buy a Rose OR a card...for $2, you can buy a Rose AND a Card… for $4 you can buy a SONG…And there is more, for $5, you can have a Rose, a Card, and a Song DELIVERED to your special person’s 4th block on Feb. 13th! Look for the Song-a-Grams cart during lunches traveling to the Cafeteria, the Gym, and the Media Center areas!
Students interested in running spring track that have not completed an information sheet need to see coach Jones, coach Lippert or coach Garrou for this information. Information sheets are due to coach Jones by Wednesday.
A parent/student information session for students interested in taking CCP courses will take place on Tuesday, February 11 from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Wilson Building at JCC.
JCC will host a CCP Expo on Thursday, February 20, from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Tart Lobby at JCC. Students interested in CCP should plan to attend.
Are you wanting to explore career options? Well…CTE will be hosting a district career fair, Thursday, Feb 20 at Smithfield-Selma High School. Any junior or senior that is interested in going, please see Mrs. Lippert in room 408 for a permission form.
Attention Juniors: When you take the ACT next month, you’ll be able to send your scores to four colleges at no cost! You have just over a week to determine those colleges - so start making your decisions now!
The history department is planning a trip for juniors to Bentonville Battleground to see a Civil War Reenactment on March 21. Only 40 students will be able to go. See any history teacher for info.

SENIOR AD NIGHT for anyone who would like to purchase an ad for the 2020 Yearbook will be Thursday, February 27 at 7 pm in the Media Center. Please let your parents and family know. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Fry.
Winter athletic senior night is this Friday, Feb 14th, in between the girl’s and boy’s basketball games. Parents will line up in front lobby of the new gym and athletes in the back hallway of new gym with 3 minutes left in the girl’s game. See your coach for any reminders.
