The men’s soccer team remains undefeated at home. The team came from two goals down last night to end in a tie with the defending 2A State Champions, Clinton.  Goals on the evening by Ty Narron and Andrew Stancil.

 

SENIORS: If you are interested in being considered as a school nominee for the Park, Morehead, Belk, Levine, or Cheatham-White scholarships, check out the school website to complete an interest form. This form is due September 21st.  Take a look at the scholarship page of our school website for more scholarship opportunities!

 

Seniors who are enrolled in English IV this spring need to meet in room 305 at A lunch on Friday of this week to discuss college applications and scholarship information. 

 

Students that drive to school should purchase a parking pass by Wednesday, September 11. After September 11, you will not be allowed to drive on campus.

 

Attention to any student taking an agriculture class this year.  The FFA officers would like to invite any student taking an agriculture class to a cookout on Tuesday, September 10, right after school in the Ag. Shop.  You do not have to be a member of the FFA, just enrolled in an agriculture class to come to the cookout. Hope to see you there!

 

All female athletes interested in trying out for girls basketball should see Coach Poole in the gym this week for try out dates, paperwork to fill out, and workout opportunities.

 

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores – The North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics will be on campus September 19th.  If you are interested in learning more about this educational opportunity, please visit student services to sign up.

 

It’s time to register for the PSAT! Students who are interested in taking the PSAT on October 16 must register between September 4 and September 16. Forms can be obtained from Mrs. Davis in Student Services. Forms will also be available on our website. Cost is $17.

 

The HOSA club is meeting for the first time this year TODAY during B Lunch in Mrs. Oliver’s room 606. If you are interested in Health Occupations, be there!  

 

Yearbook pictures for Freshmen and Sophomores will be taken on Wednesday, September 11th, and yearbook pictures for Juniors will be taken on Thursday, September 12th.

 

SENIORS:  Make-up pictures for yearbook will be on September 11th and 12th during Panther Time. You will not need an appointment.  See Mrs. Fry in room 204 if you have any questions.
