Announcements 5-13-19

Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team on their 10-1 win over Currituck. The panthers collected 15 hits. They also hit 3 homeruns. Hitting homeruns were Tucker Batten, Ilmar Ramirez, and Avery Pearce. Others with 2 hits were Dylan Pitts, Nate Clifton, and Daylan Hinnant. On the mound, Dylan Pitts pitched a complete game only giving up one run. Pitts also struck out 11 batters. With the win the Panthers advanced to the 3rd round of state playoffs where they will travel on Tuesday to play Washington. Again congratulations to these young men on a great job!!

 

JUNIORS:  There is a Junior Class Meeting in the Auditorium TODAY during LUNCH A.  The photographer for next year will be here to discuss Senior Pictures which will be taken during the summer. These are the pictures for yearbook next year.  If for some reason you can not attend, see Ms. Fry as soon as possible to get your information.

 

The North Johnston High School Chorus Spring Concert entitled “A High School Musical” will be Tuesday, May 14th in the auditorium. The Senior Preshow will begin at 6 pm with the regular concert beginning at 7 pm. The price of admission will be a $2 donation at the door. Everyone is invited to attend!

 

Congratulations to the following girls track team members. Haley Bunn, Angela James-Creech, Mackenzie Swartz, Sydney Swartz and Tatiana Powell. These ladies qualified for the state meet on Friday.

 

All Chorus members should report to the auditorium today for a dress rehearsal beginning at 2:45.

 

The North Johnston High School Panther Players are performing a Dinner Theater ‘Murder Mystery’ THIS WEDNESDAY the 15th at 6pm. Tickets are $12.50 (that includes a three course meal and the show), see Mrs. Kiser to purchase!

 

Summer school applications are now available in Student Services.

 

Spring athletic awards are TONIGHT at 6:00 pm in the new gym.

 

The Herff Jones representative will deliver official class rings on Friday, May 17th during all lunches in the Auditorium Lobby.  Please remember to bring your personal balance due. Only cash or money order accepted on delivery day.

Any student wishing to order their official class ring may do so at that time by bringing a deposit of $80.00 for Ultrium or $125.00 for all other metal qualities.

 

Senior Dance Tickets are still on sale.  Please see Ms. Fry to purchase your ticket.  The dance is Saturday night May 18th. Tickets are $15.00.
