The FFA would like to congratulate the livestock judging team on a job well done in yesterday’s state competition. The junior team consisting of only 2 of the 4 needed members finished very well overall, Schyler Crocker and Tyler Boswell represented this division well, Schyler received recognition for a third place overall finish out of 218 individuals. Tyler Boswell finished strong at 33rd out of 218. The senior team had an impressive day, finishing 2nd in both the Johnston Federation and East Central Region and 7th in the state out of 90 teams. The senior team members were Brice Godwin, Caroline Leegins, Hailey Medlin and Kadence Overby. A huge congratulations to Kadence Overby who swept the competition yesterday, taking overall first place honors out of 390 individuals across the state. Kadence had four perfect scores in yesterday’s competition putting her in first place for the day. Great job to all!
All young men that are planning on trying out for tennis in the Spring need to see Coach Anderson in Room 408 to sign up. You will also need to pick up the Winter Workout Schedule.
First basketball game of the year is this Friday, Nov 30th vs Princeton! Bring a friend and fill up the student section! JV Boys start at 4:30 pm. Varsity girls at 6pm, and Varsity boys at 7:30 pm. Go Panthers! Make NJ the best home court advantage!!
