Innovative Inferencing Lesson

On November 8th, Lisha Sholar's fifth grade students were investigators as they studied a crime scene.  The students worked on inferencing and writing skills as they studied the scene and reported their findings.  Sholar was dressed in a blue jump suit with the letters FBI on the back, goggles, and plastic covering on her feet.  Some of the students also had FBI on their backs.  All students wore blue gloves so that they would not contaminate the scene.  They made notes on clipboards as they studied the scene on the other side of the caution tape.  Students had a great time.  Way to be innovative Sholar!
