CAPS Fees Due January 31

We want to remind you of the CAPS Fee (Campus Access Parking and Security) that Johnston Community College charges all students. ECA students who are enrolled in college class(es) are required to pay CAPS fees each semester. The cost is $4.00 per credit hour (not per course)For example, if you were taking two college courses that are 3 credit hours each, your total would be $24.

All JCC CAPS fees must be paid by Tuesday, January 31. Check Self Service for an updated amount owed. If you feel that the amount you owe is still too high, please contact Ms. Casey.

Payments are made directly to JCC by either visiting the Cashier's Office in Wilson or paying online through Self Service. Freshmen will be taken to the Cashier's Office during Pride Time.

Please note that if you applied for a fee waiver, you received an email if your fee waiver was approved. Your bill should be $0 and you do not owe fees. Additionally, students are required to pay CAPS fees for classes dropped after the first day of the semester. If you are retaking a college class that you previously failed, the amount you owe will reflect the cost of any e-texts or other materials associated with the course, which you are responsible for paying.

Please let us know if you have any questions!
