Connect Ed Message 12/11/2022

Good evening, Dixon Road parents,

     This is Mrs. Creed calling with some important reminders. 

• First, this Tuesday is fall picture make-up and retake day. If your student was not present for fall pictures they will need to be prepared to have their picture made for the school yearbook. If you would like for your child's picture to be re-taken for some reason, please reach out to their teacher via Class Dojo or email to let her know. Feel free to contact the front office tomorrow if you have questions about pictures. 

• Next, our PTO will be hosting the school's Dinner with Santa this Thursday evening from 6 to 8:30. There will be food trucks, games, face painting, free pictures with Santa, an opportunity to do some final shopping at the Penguin Shop and more! Please park in front of the school when you arrive. The main entrance will be open. 

• Lastly, our Christmas break begins on Friday, December 16th, for students. 

• Thursday, the 15th, is an early release day with students being dismissed at 1:55. Bus riders will arrive home around 2 hours earlier than usual. 

• School will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd. I hope that you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
