The 1st Third Grade Wax Museum was held on February 18th 2019. Each 3rd grader chose a important figure in Black History to represent. The students worked for weeks to learn about their influential individual. They did plenty of research, they perfected their speeches, and they planned their outfits for the event. They lined up to show what they had to many parents, students, and people in the community. Once the doors to the gymnasium opened the students turned into their individual and shared very powerful speeches about Black History. Parents, teachers, and students were so intrigued in the speeches and even asked questions, that the students were ready to answer. The third grade students made Cooper Rockets proud!
