Sale of Surplus Items

The Johnston County Public Schools Facility Services Department will be accepting sealed bids for items which have been declared surplus by the Johnston County Board of Education.

The purpose of a surplus sale is to sell stored furniture or equipment that has reached its usefulness to the school system, whether through age or disrepair.

These items may be previewed on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 12:00 - 4:00 PM at Facility Services, located at 601 A West Market Street, Smithfield, NC.

Bids will be received on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 8:00 AM. - 12 PM, at which time all bids will be opened and the high bidder will be notified by phone that day by 5:00 PM. Items will be available for pick up Monday, December 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. There will be no early or late pick up and payment will be received by cash or check only.
