Morning Announcements 5-6

Baseball/ Coach Lee

The Varsity Baseball team defeated Willow Spring on Senior Night last night by a score of 3-0. Leading Cleveland was Senior Skyler Locklear who pitched a complete game no hitter. Cleveland finishes  the season with a 16-7 record & will advance to the 4A State playoffs on Tuesday.

Varsity Softball/ Coach Morris

The Varsity Softball team picked up a big conference win on Senior Night last night against Willow Spring. Sarah Prosser went 4 for 4. Kassidy Mills, Iona Davis and Amber Faulkner all had multi hit games for the Lady Rams. Taylor McQueen hit a walk off Homerun to end the game with an 11-0 score. Lani Pennica got the win in the circle for the Lady Rams striking out 5 Storm batters. The Lady Rams will start their playoff run next week.

Senior Walk

Seniors - The Senior Walk at our Elementary and Middle Schools will be held on Friday, May 13th. Permission forms are available in the main office and in Student Services. All forms must be returned by May 11th.

CCP Students

Attention all CCP Students: Ms. Haynes will be at Cleveland High School Thursday to help with any CCP questions you have - advising, registration, textbooks and JCC accounts. Ask your teacher for permission to come to Student Services anytime during 1st, 2nd or 3rd blocks. Email Ms. Barnhart if you have questions.

Latin American Culture Day

What is the oldest university in the Americas? It is the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, created on October 28th, 1538 in the capital of the Dominican Republic: Santo Domingo. Today we are celebrating Latin culture and dancing in the auditorium during ram time. See You there.

Mother’s Day Gift Basket Raffle Sale- Miller

CVHS Students and Staff: Searching for that perfectMother’s Day gift? Look no further! The Chorus is sponsoring a Mother’s Day Gift Basket Raffle Sale. The Gift Baskets are from Bath and Body Works  and also Outback gift cards will be given along with the baskets. Tickets will be sold during Ram Time / Lunches Monday, May 2nd and Friday, May 6th. Winners will be announced Friday afternoon. See Mr. Miller or a chorus student for details.
