There will be an interest meeting on Monday, May 2nd during Ram Time A in the small gym. This meeting is for any boys or girls who would be interested in playing Lacrosse at Cleveland HS next school year.
National Poetry Month/ Wamble
Today we honor National Poetry Month with Poem in Your Pocket Day, a nationwide celebration which began in 2002! Teachers, be on the lookout for the Library Club as they will be coming around during RamTime with a special treat to commemorate this special day!
Mini-College Fair/ Barnhart
Are you interested in attending a four-year college? Student Services will host a mini-college fair during Ram Time A on Monday. Come meet representatives from ECU, UNC Greensboro, UNC Charlotte, UNC Asheville, Univ. of Alabama and Univ. of Alabama-Birmingham. Look for “College Fair” when you sign up for Ram Time Sunday night.
Good morning, my name is Shaylin Murray, and I'm here with the Racial Ethnic Diversity Club. Next week, starting May 2nd, R.E.D will be holding a multi-cultural spirit week! Each day we will be celebrating the culture of a particular region of the world. Dress up with coordinating colors for each cultural day! And participate in fun informational activities like karaoke or a special presentation with Ms. Locklear on Native American culture! To kick off the first day we’re celebrating the Asian/Pacific Islander culture. The color we’ll wear is pnk! Hope to see you guys there!
Are you interested in performing with the Cleveland High School DRUMLINE?! We are hosting Battery Help Sessions on May 3rd, 5th, 10th and 12th for anyone interested. There is no experience required. Help sessions will be from 4-6 pm in the CVHS Band Room. See Mr. Rainville in 513 with any questions!
Cleveland Arts Winter Ensembles
CONGRATULATIONS to All 3 of our Cleveland Arts Winter Ensembles for their HUGE success at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio over the past three weeks! The Cleveland Arts Open Guard received a final score of 88.6 and were 8th place and scholastic open class FINALISTS! The Cleveland Arts Concert Open Percussion earned 5th place and a score of 91.4. The Cleveland Arts World Winds earned a final score of 92.5 and were named Scholastic World Class BRONZE medalists!!! Cleveland High School was 1 of ONLY 3 schools in the COUNTRY to have finalists in each division of competition. CONGRATULATIONS to ALL of our winter ensemble staff and students! We are SO PROUD of you and your achievements!
