The CTLA Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Club prepared treats to share with all students for Red Ribbon Week reminding them to Stay Drug Free. Two RAK Club participants, Deysi Ramirez-Rubio and Elvira Perez-Hernandez designed Red Ribbon labels and bookmarks to share also. Each CTLA student received a red pencil and pack of Skittles with a positive message for Red Ribbon Week.
Plans for the RAK Club November activity are already underway. Students will collect snack items and prepare large goodie baskets and thank you cards for Emergency Department staff at hospitals in Smithfield and Clayton.
We are thankful for students who choose to serve others and make a difference in our school and community through the RAK Club.
