Phabulous Spelling Bee Winners

The Most Gifted Spellers

The Benson Middle School Spelling Bee took place Monday, December 14th, 2018 in our Media Center.  The winner of the Benson Middle School Spelling Bee was 8th grader Hannah Christensen. Hannah beat the competition and won with the word miscreant. The runner up was 6th grader Alexander Parker.  Hannah will represent Benson Middle School at the JCS Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 28th at the Selma Elementary Auditorium.

 

The winner of the Benson Elementary Spelling Bee was 5th grader Kaden Benson. Kaden won with the word glands. The runner up was 5th grader Alessandra McConnell.  Kaden will represent Benson Middle School at JCS Elementary Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 24th.

 

We had several other students compete.  From 5th, we had Antonio Ortega and Ke´Asia Hampton. From 6th, we had Holden Fowler, Trent Messer, Soraya Ceballos and Ben Welch. From 7th, we had Emily Wynn, Cassidy Hoffman-Edminster and Azzael Contreras. Finally, from 8th grade, we had Alex Huskins, Jamarieyon McDougald, Jeremy Temple and Logan Reagan compete in our BMS Annual School Spelling Bee.
