  • Dependability Character Assembly

    Students from North Johnston High School Athletics visited our school to help us understand the meaning of dependability. Students from the high school discussed how they manage the responsibility of their school work and their respective sports. Their teams depend on them to keep up their grades and show up to practice to help them team run efficiently.

  • Local Author Visits Micro

    Local author Sherry Storrs visited Micro and read aloud to our students. Students enjoyed listening to her read two of her published books and asking her questions about the writing process.

  • NJ Area Bus Drivers with Perfect Attendance

    Laura Ochoa, Tammy Atkinson, Debra Morgan and Sheila Fitzgerald represent Micro Elementary for have perfect attendance on the bus for the first semester of this school year!

  • Spelling Bee Winners

    4th and 5th grade conducted a school spelling bee in the month of December. Pictured left to right are: Julian (3rd place, Haylee (2nd place), and Jayden (1st place). Jayden will go to the Johnston County Spelling Bee to compete against other winners from Johnston County Schools elementary schools.

  • SGA Collects Canned Goods for Local Area Food Pantries

    Our school collected canned goods to donate to local area food pantries! In all, the school collected 569 cans! SGA members made posters, collected, and counted the items!

  • Micro Elementary Wins Big!

    It is official! Micro Elementary is the most popular school in the district! The Tina Barteletta Team came by today to present Micro Elementary with a check for $500! We won their Facebook contest by having the most shares and likes! Thank you Tina! This is more proof that we are the small school where BIG things happen!
