Spelling Bee Champion
Four Oaks Elementary held its school Spelling Bee on Thursday, Nov. 18th. Thirteen participants, from fourth and fifth grades were in the Spelling Bee. Addi Dunn, a fifth grade student in Mrs. Brammerโs class, won the Spelling Bee by spelling the word โtoppledโ correctly. Lexi Franklin, a fourth grade student in Mrs. McGowenโs class, was first runner up in the Spelling Bee. Mrs. Jill Parrish, Four Oaks Elementaryโs Spelling Coach said, โAddi will represent Four Oaks Elementary in the County Spelling Bee in January."

Community Partnerships for Cardinals
The Four Oaks Community Men's Outreach Organization came to school on August 19th to deliver backpacks filled with school supplies for students who might need help starting the school year! Chris Haley, president, said the men wanted to do something for the students and that was the best idea they had. Mrs. Kathy Parrish, principal, was thrilled that the group came on the morning of August 19th--the same day we welcomed families and students into our building for the 21-22 school year.

Pulling Together for Student Success
Joker 50 RA and 301 Brothers RC have partnered with Four Oaks Elementary for the 2021-2022 School year. These bikers collected and delivered school supplies to kick off the year in a successful way to support students as they return to school. Mrs. Kathy Parrish, principal of Four Oaks Elementary, is proud to work in a community where everyone pulls together for student success!

FOES Bus Driver & Substitute Bus Driver of the 2020-21 school year
Ms. McNeill is a Child Nutritionist Assistant at Four Oaks Elementary School. Lorrel Dunn is the Head Custodian at Four Oaks Elementary School. They serve our students in so many different capacities aside from transporting them to and from school in a safe environment. They are role models for our students as to how to treat others with respect and they always have a smile on their face. Thank you Ms. McNeill and Ms. Dunn for always being there for us.

Lainee Everette won 1st place in the Johnston County Elementary Spelling Bee. Jill Parrish, spelling bee coach and Kathy Parrish, Principal are very proud of Lainee and her accomplishment!
