  • Senior Poetry Contest Winner

Senior, Haley Kennelly, recently won a poetry contest she entered during the month of April which is National Poetry Month. She took the advice from her Creative Writing teacher, Mrs. Slomiany, and it paid off! Mrs. Slomiany said, "Haley has been an extremely active participant in class, as well as participating in my Cleveland Writing Club and also, the Poetry Cafe Mrs. Beaston and I hosted for Cleveland Chooses. Haley participated and entered the events we shared and let me know today she won! Haley has also helped to create Literary Salon activities like Hemingway had and our Writing Club participates thanks to her! She is an amazing student and writer."
