Johnston County was recently touted as one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation. Due to the recent population growth, Johnston County Public Schools has experienced a significant increase in student enrollment totals over the past few years.

To ensure quality instruction, this means that certain schools will be capped to prevent overcrowding. Capped schools will continue to enroll students who live within the attendance area, but may not accept students who live outside of the attendance area. Please see the attached document below to view capped schools for the upcoming school year.
