How many books can students check out?

• Kindergarteners have the opportnuity to check out 1 book each week.

• 1st - 5th graders may check out  two books each week.  

• 3rd - 5th graders with permission may check out 2 extra books when needed for special projects. 

When are books due?

• Books can be checked out for a 2 week period but can be turned in anytime. 

• Books may be renewed one time for another 2 week period.

What happens if a book is overdue?

• There are no fines for overdue book.

• Students may not check out another book until books are returned. 

What happens if a book is damaged or lost?

• A fine will be assessed for damaged books depending on the extent of the damage. 

• If a book is damaged beyond repair, a book replacement fine will be assessed. 

• If a book is lost, the student is responsible for paying the replacement cost.
