Sarah Willoughby, Interim Principal

Hello West Clayton Bulldogs!

My name is Sarah Willoughby, and I am honored to be the interim Principal at West Clayton. My husband, Jason, and I live in Princeton with three of our four children: Noah, Jack, and Luke. Rebecca, our oldest, has followed in our footsteps and has completed her first year of teaching.

I attended East Carolina University as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. After graduating in 2003, I began my teaching career in Duplin County at B. F. Grady Elementary School. After two years in Duplin County, I moved to Wayne County, where I taught at Carver and Rosewood Elementary Schools. Throughout my career, I have taught various grades and subjects, including third through eighth-grade remediation, kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade, and I have also served as a Curriculum Coach.

In 2015, I earned my Master's in School Administration from East Carolina University. This is my seventh year at West Clayton, and I know it will be another AMAZING year!
