Black Student Union

To uplift and enlighten students by creating a welcoming environment that supports the learning and understanding of black culture and raising cultural awareness. We provide a space where students can learn about and celebrate their heritage, make positive friendships, pursue academic excellence, and talk about their cultural experiences. The BSU aims to increase the inclusion and sense of belonging for African American students in the school and community and strives to work together to build a respectful and unified school and community for everyone.

FIRST Robotics Competition Team 6004 f(x) Robotics was formed in 2015 as a community-based FIRST Robotics Competition team housed at Smithfield-Selma High School in Smithfield, N.C. FIRST is the largest STEM-based competition in the world for students in grades K-12. Diversity is our strength with roughly 35 public, private, charter, and homeschool students participating on the team each year.
