Since we started our Polenta Science Olympiad Team several years ago, our school has placed 1st or 2nd each year in our regional competition. While Mrs. Davis is our head coach, it is the village of teachers and parent volunteers that allows our team to be so successful each school year. Our team is a highly competitive team that is made up of 30 students from 3rd-5th grade. These students have to be willing to work at practice and at home on their Science Olympiad events in order to be successful. Tryouts are in September or October of each school year and the competition is typically in March or April.
