Academic Goal For JCPS

By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, Polenta will increase overall proficiency by 5 percentage points from 60.2% to 66% measured by the EOG reading, math, and science scores for grades 3-5.    (A 4.01, B 3.03, E 1.06)   

Polenta Elementary School Improvement Plan

Goal 1: By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, Polenta will increase overall proficiency by 5 percentage points from 60.2% to 66% measured by the EOG reading, math, and science scores for grades 3-5.    (A 4.01, B 3.03, E 1.06)   

-Reading : 59.2% to 64.2%

-Math: 61.9% to 67.3%

-Science: 58.3% to 63.3%

 

Goal 2: By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, Polenta will increase proficiency for students in the Students With Disabilities subgroup by 5 percentage points from 19.2% to 24.2%.  (A 4.06, E 1.06)

Goal 3:   By the end of the 2025-2026 school year, Polenta's staff morale and trust will improve based on the Teacher Working Conditions Survey in the specific area of "atmosphere of trust and mutual respect" increasing from  77.3%  to 82.3%  (A 4.06, E 1.06)
